Download Wii Games - Best Places To Find And Download Wii Games

If you want to download wii games, there are some good places to look and some bad places to download your wii media from.

Lets start with the bad. The worst place you can find to download games for your wii from would be from software programs such as Limewire. At one point in time, programs like this were great resources to get all types of music, movies, and games from. However, these days they have turned into more of a haven for a virus and spyware. If you do decide to use this type of software to get your game downloads from make sure that you follow some simple precautions to ensure that you are downloading a clean file.

When you search for a file using Limewire you can left click on the file, when you do this you will see several options, go to the advanced option, and then click on "lookup with blitzy". Basically, this is a feature that allows you to see what other people that have downloaded the file have to say about it. Often times you will see that the file has been given a negative rating. When this is the case, the file you have found is definitely one that you want to avoid.

Some of the best places that I have found to download wii games from are what are quickly becoming known as mega sites. These sites not only allow you to download games for your wii but, also movies and music that is formated to play on your game console. With a little bit of time and planning it is within reason for you to be able to turn your wii into a complete home theater system. The great thing about these sites is that they guarantee that all of the files are free from viruses and also boast some of the fastest download speeds online. These sites are member only communities so you will also find a ton of game reviews and also have the advantage of being able to download Nintendo releases the minute that they hit the shelves at the retail stores.

While being able to download wii games is definitely something that all Nintendo owners would give anything to be able to do, it is important to take your time and make the right decisions as to where you choose to get your files from.

XBox 360 Repair

Problems on the XBox 360 are indicated by 1, 2, 3, or 4 Red Lights flashing on the power button.

The following are the reasons and possible solutions for the different patterns of red lights.

1 Flashing Red Light

Hardware Failure

The Following are the known types of hardware failures which are determined by the error code displayed on the screen.

E65: DVD Drive Error - the wrong firmware, a DVD timeout etc.

E67: Hard Drive Error - This could be a problem with the Hard Drive or the internal connection to the hard drive. Try to play after having removed the hard drive.

E68: Another Hard Drive Error - This could be a problem with the Hard Drive or the internal connection to the hard drive. Try to play after having removed the hard drive. It could also be caused by a Hard Drive Eprom Error.

E69: Another Hard Drive Error - This could be a problem with the Hard Drive or the internal connection to the hard drive. Try to play after having removed the hard drive.

E74: AV cable error - Try using a different AV cable. This could also be a problem with the encoder chip.

E79: Hard Drive Error - This could be a problem with the Hard Drive or the internal connection to the hard drive. Try to play after having removed the hard drive.

2 Flashing Red Lights

Overheating

What You Can Try:

Let your Xbox 360 console cool down - this might take a few hours but do not turn the console on while the console is hot. Make sure that your XBox has sufficient ventilation, and that the fan is operating correctly.

How to keep the XBox from overheating:

Ensure that none of the ventilation openings on the console are blocked.
Don't put the console on a bed, carpet, or any other soft surface that may block ventilation openings. Don't put it in a confined space, such as a bookcase or TV Unit, unless it is well-ventilated. Don't put the Xbox near any heat source, such as a heater or an amplifier.

Note:

Never put your XBox in a cold evironment to cool down. This could damage your XBox as electronic devices are meant to function at room temperature. Cold temperatures cause condensation when the XBox heats up from being used, which could short out your console.

3 Flashing Red Lights (the red ring of death)

General Hardware Failure

What You Can Try:

First try restarting the console.

Next turn the console off and unplug all the power and AV cables from the console (also unplug the power cord from the wall socket). Firmly reconnect all the cables and then turn on the console.

If that doesn't work, turn the console off and remove the hard drive, and turn it back on again. If the 3 red lights are no longer flashing, turn the console off, put the hard drive back in and then turn the console on again. You should also examine the power supply light. When the console is on, the power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the power button flash red.

If you get the three red lights (Ring of death), your only option is to have it fixed (by Microsoft, or another repair center), or to fix it yourself. See below for more info.

4 Flashing Red Lights

The AV cable cannot be detected

Things you can Try:

First check that the AV cable is connected peoperly to the Xbox console to see if that was the problem. Next disconnect and then reconnect the AV cable to the Xbox console.
If the four red lights are still there, try to wipe the metal area (the part that plugs into the console) of the AV pack with a dry cloth.

If all that has failed, try using a different AV cable to see if that works.

So you want to learn how to download movies, music, games and more to your PSP. Who wouldn't want to learn how to download this stuff to the PSP, the PSP is one of the hottest portable gaming systems ever made. There are some points you should look for before becoming a member to a website that offers downloads for your PSP.

1. One-Time Membership Fee

A website should offer you a one-time membership fee and not a pay-per download charge!!! I cant stress this enough, you should pay only once and have unlimited downloads available to you.

2. Offer More Than Just Games

Games are good to download, but if you pay for membership don't you want more? Find a site that offers you movies, tv shows, music, and more.

3. Does the site offer bonuses for joining?

Some websites offer bonuses for picking a certain membership package. Some people may choose the bonus is not for them and that is OK, but if you can get a deal by upgrading for a little more money why not? A majority of the time the customer is getting the better deal for upgrading!

4. Do They Have Testimonials?

The website I joined actually had testimonials right on the main page. Make sure you don't have to hunt for these things, if the website is a quality one they shouldn't make you dig for information.

5. Is it Spyware Free?

If you pay for a membership make sure the site is safe. You don't want to download files with viruses and spyware after joining. Look at the website and make sure you see that it says it is spyware free!

6. Technical Support

If you ever have problems make sure you are able to contact the website at any time of day. The website I became a member of has 24/7 Technical Support. This is very useful because if I did run into a problem in the middle of the night I am happy to know I can contact them and get an answer.

Xbox 360 to Be Given Free of Charge in Schools

Do I start this article by asking where are all the gaming consoles or should I ask where aren't they?

Probably the second would be more apt at this time as it certainly seems that there's not a place on earth where there isn't a console of some kind. I'll put a bet on it that if you're reading this then you've got a console by Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft, and if you haven't then you'll know someone who has.

They're everywhere you look - shops, homes, newspapers, magazines, work places - they're even in old peoples' homes, and some clinicians are using them for their patients recovery! No, I ain't kidding. A previous article I wrote goes into this in more detail.

Well, as if that's not enough, I've just discovered that they are now being used in our schools right here in Wales! Not by naughty kids under the desks, no Sir, but by the teachers of the schools for the education of our kids!

Sounds unbelievable right?

Not so when you look into what exactly is going on there.

Microsoft run a scheme called Partners In Learning Program where the pupils run an online business selling rugby kits and accessories. Venture Wales has been involved in the development of the scheme.

Being a teacher myself I would suggest that the teaching and learning of business enterprise skills at a young age is essential to developing future successful business managers and entrepreneurs in Wales.

In the scheme, the pupils learn about all factors of business including stock taking, pricing, employing staff and indeed firing staff! It's as real as it can possibly be.

The top two players in the scheme receive a prize and as the scheme is run by Microsoft there really can only be one worthwhile prize - yep, you got it - the Xbox 360!

The scheme has been welcomed by teacher and pupil alike and seems certain to mold into shape some excellent future business men and women.

Up until June, 2008 the scheme was offered free of charge to the schools and following this it is hoped that enough sponsors will come forward to make it available indefinitely.

Will it continue? Let's wait and see shall we, but I for one certainly hope so.

When further developments are available I shall of course be posting an article with all the latest information. I have links with some local schools so I can get the information first hand from the teachers. It sounds a huge positive step forward for the industry of the UK.
